Foundation Paper Pieced Heart Wall Hanging for Ukraine

In this video I used Ukrainian Quilt Pattern Designer Oleksandra Derenovska’s (Sashas Quilts on Etsy) Foundation Paper Pieced Heart Quilt Block, to make a wall hanging in support of Ukraine.

FREE Heart Pattern for border cornerstones.

Adding the Border

I added a border to the Sasha’s Quilts Heat Pattern Block.

I used four of my free FPP heart pattern as cornerstones and finished with plain white cotton fabric.

This is a 6.5″ unfinished/ 6″ finished border and I explained my haphazard approach to piecing it in the video above!

Below is it all quilted up. I used a facing method to finish it rather than binding and I added hanging corners for a dowel so I could hang it in my window facing out to the street.
