Supplies Needed:
– Fabric
– Jelly Roll Strip
– Ribbon
– Sewing Machine
– Rotary Cutter
– Iron
– Safety Pin
– Chopstick (optional)

STEP 1.
Fold one piece of fabric in half or cut two pieces of fabric the same size.

Estimate the needed width and height for your gift.
STEP 2.

If you are going for an unlined bag, the next step is to hide the raw edge at the top of your bag.
STEP 3.

To do this you want to fold over the top edge twice to hide the raw edge inside. You can make this tiny or somewhat chunky.

Next, you need to find a long strip of fabric. It should be the same length as the width of your bag.
STEP 5.

Hide the raw edge on either end of your strip (the short ends!) by folding over twice and stitching along the fold
