This free X Marks the Scrap quilt pattern is a great way to use leftover fabrics!

Supplies Needed:

– 4 x Central strips – 8 x Patches of Low Volume Background Fabric – 4 x Central strip end piece in low volume background fabric

Fabric Requirements

You will find the fabric requirements for a single block so you can make blocks as often as you like!

Central Scrappy Strips

For my version, I used mostly scrappy strips sewn on to adding machine tape but I also used a few strips of my ‘made fabric.

A note on colors

The quilt I made with this pattern is a rainbow of color, but in general, I do like using limited color palettes for each quilt block.

Cutting Requirements by Block

The measurements are slightly larger than what is needed to make sure you aren’t short when you come to piecing.
