Turn Tiny Trimmings Into Cute Fabric Bookmarks, Here's How!

There are actually lots of things you can do with tiny scrap trimmings. This post is about just one way – turn them into a Scrap Fabric Bookmark!

Supplies Needed

– Trimmings and slivers of scrap fabric – Embroidery Stabiliser  – Offcuts of ribbon  – Sewing machine and thread – Cutting Mat and Rotary Cutter – Pinking Shears

STEP 1

I used super teeny slivers of scrap fabric and leftover thread.

STEP 2

Next, cut some embroidery stabiliser to roughly the size you want your bookmarks to be.

STEP 3

Next, you get to fill your little bookmark envelope with all your lovely scraps.

Fill your Scrap Fabric Bookmark.

STEP 4

You basically just want to sew every inch of that bookmark all over to make sure the scraps stay together.

STEP 3

Now the really fun part. Washing off the stabiliser! I did it in a bowl of cold water, but you could also just run them under the tap.
