Quilted Double Pot Holder Tutorial

Recently I have been making two types of pot holders as gifts. Today I am sharing these double pot holders to add to your sewn holiday gift ideas.

Take the fabric and batting for the main body of your double pot holder and layer them.

Sew the accent fabrics right sides to right sides with a 1/4″ inch seam and press.

Supplies

– Main body fabric – Backing fabric – Main body batting – Hand Pockets Fabric – Pocket backing fabric – Pocket Batting

Take the fabric and batting for the main body of your double pot holder and layer them.

Step 1

Sew the accent fabrics right sides to right sides with a 1/4″ inch seam and press.

Step 2

I then sewed the accent strip unit to the background fabric and pressed my seam allowance.
